This frilly vase appears to open up and reveal an inner secret that is also opening. As a one-of-a-kind pedestal for a cluster of flowers, its double neck follows the shape of a bouquet, while framing and supporting the floral arrangement. I used minimal color to emphasize the delicate lines of the vase when displayed empty as a centerpiece sculpture. It is about 14 inches tall and is covered with a clear water-tight glaze, so it can hold living flowers.
This vase is in a private collection in Chappaqua, New York. However, I can create a similar (but not identical) vase as a special order.
