Where a dancer's hands bring clay to life

The rippling movements of a dancers skirt emerged in my pottery as sets of shallow bowls with asymmetrical wave-like edges. This set consists of five separate nesting bowls, covered with a green glaze, highlighted with a reactive glaze on the edges that split into numerous colors during firing.

This set is part of a private collection in the Lincoln Center Area, NYC. Although I am no longer making nesting bowls, similar rippling effects on other bowls  are available at my online shop
