Dancing Leaves and Flowers

The colors and graceful lines of leaves and flowers continue to inspire me. Flower shapes have served as both the structures of my pieces, as well as the decorative elements I later apply.

Leaves, particularly as they weave in and out of sight, bring motion and liveliness to my pottery. Of all the creative aspects of my work, applying flowers, leaves, and vines gives me the greatest feeling of elation.
